Formed in 2006 Men on a Mission is a Voluntary organisation which supports projects in Ethiopia.
From the outset, the idea has been to attract local men to play an active part in both raising money and visiting the projects in Ethiopia. Our mission is to encourage Faith, Fun and Fellowship through serving our God.
Although there is a core group of men working in a voluntary capacity to organise fundraising events and sourcing the projects, there are countless dozens actively participating and donating, each one playing their part to help improve the lives of children. We believe that everyone has a skill, talent, resources, circle of friends, business partners, and work colleagues etc given by God, who can play a part. So by involving as many people as possible, making the right connections and introductions, all will help to complete the missions and transform the lives of the people of Ethiopia.
Although based in Comber, Northern Ireland, Men on a Mission is a multi-denominational and God inspired organisation with supporters who may or may not have faith. The reason we exist is to help those who cannot help themselves and through this, realise our own purpose in life.
All money donated to the ‘missions’ goes directly to the project(s).
All travel expenses, advertising and administrative costs are met by the men involved.
